The Dark Elf Raptor Rider is a striking multipart miniature that captures a drow warrior in full battle poise — sword thrust skyward, seated upon a powerfully built raptor rearing up on its hind legs with jaws wide open. The rider wears layered plate armour with angular, blade-like pauldrons and a swept-back crested helm that speaks of a warrior order rather than a simple raider. At his back, a large shield is mounted — its fanged profile echoing the beast beneath him.
The raptor itself is superbly detailed: individual scales cover the muscular haunches and sweeping tail, spiked armour plates run along its spine, and its open maw reveals rows of sharp teeth caught in mid-snarl. The whole composition has tremendous forward energy — the kind that makes it clear this pair has never once considered retreat.
Mounted on a large 51mm base, this miniature has genuine presence on the tabletop. Whether you paint the raptor in the mottled tones of a subterranean predator or the deep purples and silvers of drow heraldry, this piece rewards the effort. It works equally well as a mounted BBEG, a drow cavalry captain, or a dramatic display centrepiece.

This listing is available in two variants: with a plain 51mm round base, or without a base if you prefer to mount the miniature on your own. The sculpt is multipart; all pieces are cleaned and ready for assembly and painting upon arrival. Supplied unpainted.
