Description

In the sunless fighting pits beneath the mountain, no name draws more dread whispers than Gruthdin — the Stonefist, the Unbroken, the dwarf who hasn't lost a bout in thirty years.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Gruthdin is no common brawler. This dark dwarf pugilist carries the bearing of someone who has fought his way out of places that would break lesser souls. His broad frame is wrapped in a layered coat of scale and leather, strapped across the chest with heavy belts and metal rivets. His fists are his weapons — bound in spiked, reinforced gauntlets that have left their mark on dungeon floors and enemy skulls alike. A long grey beard frames a face set in focused aggression, and his swept-back hair gives him the look of a man who has squared up to danger so many times it no longer registers as a threat. His stance — one fist raised high, the other extended — speaks of a fighter mid-combination, reading his opponent before delivering the decisive blow.

Whether you need a ruthless underground pit champion, a disgraced monk enforcer, or a duergar mercenary whose loyalty goes to whoever pays heaviest, Gruthdin brings immediate presence to any encounter. He works equally well as a named villain, a gruff NPC ally, or a Monk or Fighter player character built around the Way of the Open Hand or the Champion archetype.

A sound choice for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark arcs, duergar strongholds, or underground crime syndicate campaigns
  • Want a Fighter or Monk miniature that reads instantly as a hardened, experienced combatant
  • Need a memorable named NPC — a pit boss, enforcer, or grudge-holding rival
  • Collect characterful dwarven sculpts for display or play

Encounter Hook:
The party is ushered into a carved stone arena deep beneath a duergar city. Their contact — a grey-bearded pugilist called Gruthdin — is already in the ring, finishing off his third challenger of the evening with terrifying efficiency. He doesn't look up when they enter. He just raises one gauntleted fist and says, without turning: "You owe me a fight, or you owe me information. Pick one before I pick for you."

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are provided as separate pieces and can be fixed together with a small amount of super glue — Gruthdin's pose interacts naturally with the base, so we recommend attaching it for the best visual result. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming, but equally striking straight from the box for those who game first and paint later.
