This is a warrior who has crossed a threshold that cannot be uncrossed. The sun-marked visor of the helm conceals a face your players will never quite see, and the billowing cloak caught mid-stride suggests someone always moving, always hunting. Two blades — one in each gauntleted hand — are poised in a low, aggressive guard, the pose charged with forward momentum as they stride across broken rocky ground. The sculpt is rich with detail: layered armour worked with interlocking geometric patterns, a segmented scale-textured cloak showing front lattice-work and a flowing quilted reverse, and greave wrappings that speak to a soldier who has seen long campaigns in difficult terrain.
For a Dungeon Master, this figure works beautifully as a named enforcer for a cult of solar corruption, a blackguard serving an arcane order, or even a fallen paladin whose armour still bears the iconography of a deity they have long since betrayed. For collectors and painters, the surface is a gift — broad cape planes that take washes and drybrushing beautifully, and armour panels with enough depth to reward careful layering. This is pose 1 of our Dark Cultist Warrior range from DM Stash.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a menacing lieutenant or mid-tier villain for a cult-themed arc
- Are building a player character — a Paladin, Fighter, or Warlock with an morally complex backstory
- Want a display piece that rewards time at the painting table
- Are running encounters in ruined temples, desert sanctuaries, or corrupted holy sites
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the Covenant of the Unblinking Eye for three sessions. When they finally breach the inner sanctum beneath the sun-temple, they find not a robed cultist but this — a warrior in full battle-worn armour, the eye sigil gleaming on the helm, twin blades already drawn. He speaks first: "You were allowed to get this far. The Eye wished to see what you were made of."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and scenic rocky base are printed as separate pieces and can be joined with super glue — the base has been sculpted to interact with the model's stance, so we recommend attaching it for the best presentation. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking as a display piece straight from the box. Suitable for both tabletop gaming and display collecting.
