The Cursed Fertility Idol is a grotesque centrepiece sculpt that sits somewhere between ancient religious artefact and outright horror prop. Rendered as a squat, wide-mouthed demonic figure seated upon an intricately carved plinth, it clutches a skull-topped staff in one hand and raises a warning claw with the other. A necklace of tiny soul-faces hangs about its neck, and the plinth itself is encircled with rows of anguished miniature visages — as if the idol consumes the devotion of all who approach it. The detail is extraordinary, right down to the texture of the skin folds and the individual carvings on the base.

Whether used as a cursed relic at the heart of a jungle temple, a dark object of veneration in a cult's lair, or simply a showpiece on your hobby shelf, this idol brings a tremendous sense of weight and menace to any scene. Equally at home as TTRPG scatter terrain or a standalone display piece for collectors who appreciate the craft of independent sculpture.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need an imposing centrepiece for a jungle ruin, cult sanctum, or ancient temple encounter
  • Want high-detail scatter terrain that doubles as a conversation piece on the hobby shelf
  • Are building a dungeon room, hex-crawl wilderness site, or villain's inner sanctum
  • Enjoy painting challenge pieces with strong texture and layered detail

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the cult to a crumbling ziggurat deep in the Thornwood. At the chamber's heart, the idol sits in a ring of torchlight — and as the rogue reaches for the gemstone at its base, every soul-face on the necklace turns to look directly at her. The idol hasn't moved. The idol is smiling.
