Description

The old empire never truly fell — its soldiers simply refused to die, still marching under a banner rotted to nothing, loyal to a forgotten king who crumbles in his tomb.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Cursed Conquistador cuts a striking figure on the tabletop: a skeletal warrior wearing battered leather and plate armour, tricorn hat pulled low over a grinning skull, sword raised and a studded round shield slung at its side. There's a grim theatricality to the sculpt — this isn't a mindless bone pile, it's a soldier of a dead empire, still standing to attention long after everyone else gave up. The detail in the layered armour, the buckled belt, and the worn equipment tells the story of a warrior who once served with discipline and now serves with something far more sinister.

Whether you're running a Ravenloft campaign steeped in colonial horror, populating a cursed ruin with its original guardians, or building out a necromancer's elite honour guard, the Cursed Conquistador brings genuine character to what could easily be a generic skeleton encounter. Equally at home on a display shelf — this is a sculpt that rewards a careful paint job, with strong contrast areas and well-defined surfaces throughout.

This is variation 01 of the Cursed Conquistador range from Galaad Miniatures — adventurers looking for additional poses and sculpts can browse the other numbered variants in the series.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need undead soldiers with a specific historical or colonial flavour
  • Are running Ravenloft, a cursed ruins arc, or a colonial-horror-themed campaign
  • Want a skeleton mini that stands apart from the standard crypt-filler variety
  • Enjoy painting miniatures with strong armour detail and expressive character
  • Are building a display collection of distinctive undead sculpts

Encounter Hook:
The party discovers the ruins of a fort half-swallowed by jungle — and the garrison is still there. Six Cursed Conquistadors stand at their posts as if awaiting orders, their movements jerky and mechanical, their hollow eye sockets fixed on the gate. The commander steps forward and speaks a single word in a language no one in the party recognises. Somewhere beneath the fort, something very old begins to wake.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue bonds them securely. The sculpted cobblestone base complements the miniature and we recommend using it, as the model's stance is designed with it in mind. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or for use straight from the box.
