Description

They spoke no words at the crossroads — only tilted their masked face towards you, tendrils of shadowflame curling at their feet, and waited.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Cultist Casual — a deeply unsettling figure robed in tattered, rope-bound vestments and concealed behind a cracked, web-stitched mask that leaves just enough shadow to suggest something deeply wrong beneath. The sculpt captures a moment of eerie stillness: hands clasped, cowl drawn forward, dark tongues of flame licking up from the base as though the ground itself has begun to respond to their presence. There's no weapon drawn, no ritual gesture — just the quiet menace of someone who has already won.

Whether your adventurers encounter this figure as a mid-ranks cult operative, a disguised faction agent lurking in a market district, or the unspeaking herald of something far worse, this miniature brings exactly the kind of dread atmosphere that makes players slow down and ask the DM, "Wait — what is that thing?" The sculpted base, with its reaching dark flames, makes the piece equally compelling as a display piece alongside your growing collection of sinister NPCs.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a visually distinct cultist NPC that doesn't read as a generic robed extra
  • Are running campaigns featuring cults, secret societies, or forbidden rites — think Ravenloft, urban intrigue, or Tharizdun worshippers
  • Want a display-worthy villain miniature that rewards close painting attention on the mask and flame details
  • Are building a recurring cast of masked antagonists that players will come to dread

Encounter Hook:
The party follows a lead to an abandoned tannery on the edge of the city's lower ward. Inside, seven robed figures stand in silence around a chalk circle — but one of them is facing the door. It doesn't move. It doesn't speak. It simply watches through the cracked mask as the others carry on, as though the adventurers were expected all along.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure is mounted on a sculpted round base featuring dark flame details — this comes as a single assembled piece. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as a grey miniature. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied with a fine file or craft knife.

Mitz & Simz — the cats failed their Dexterity saving throw against the pile of packaging and we are all pretending it didn't happen.
