Cthylla is one of the Mythos's most intriguing and rarely depicted figures: the hidden daughter of Cthulhu, secret keeper of his essence, the being through whom the Great Old One might one day return. This sculpt captures her with unsettling elegance — a humanoid upper form with taloned hands raised in eerie summoning gestures, her lower body a coiling mass of segmented scales and suckers, and great batlike wings spread behind her. Each variation shows a different aspect of her terrible presence: one pose features a crown of writhing spines with claws splayed wide, another a sleek draconic face with one arm raised skyward, and the third a more reptilian visage with both hands extended in dark benediction. Every version stands on a detailed ritual base engraved with Lovecraftian glyphs and Cthulhu-head carvings — a base as worthy of display as the figure itself.
Available in 32mm scale for tabletop play and 75mm scale for display painting — the 75mm version in particular rewards fine brushwork across the extraordinary surface detail of her scales, wings, and oceanic base. If you require a custom scale, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Lovecraftian or cosmic horror campaigns and need a centrepiece villain
- Are building an Elder Gods or Great Old Ones encounter arc
- Want a serpentine, winged aberration as a BBEG or cult figurehead
- Paint display-scale miniatures and want a sculpt with exceptional detail
- Collect Mythos-inspired fantasy figures for the shelf as much as the table
Encounter Hook:
The party discovers a coastal cult that has been sacrificing ships — not to Cthulhu, but to something the cult refuses to name. When they descend into the drowned temple beneath the cliffs, they find no tentacled patriarch, but a chamber filled with eggs, and Cthylla herself rising from the black water to defend what she has been keeping safe for a thousand years.
Each miniature comes in either 32mm (tabletop scale) or 75mm (display scale) and is supplied in multiple parts for assembly with superglue. Supports are removed as standard, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present — these are straightforward to clean up before priming.
