This is the third sculpt in our Cthulid range from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, and it presents the Mind Flayer in a form that speaks to something far older and more dangerous than a mere predator. Robes billow around a gaunt, levitating frame, tentacles hanging from a pale, expressionless face. In one hand it cradles a long bone spear, raised aloft as though conducting some dark ritual — the other hand gestures downward with an eerie precision, as if threading invisible thoughts into a nearby skull. At 63mm tall, this sculpt carries genuine presence on the table.
Where some Mind Flayer minis depict brutes or shock troops, this one reads as an elder — an Ulitharid, an Elder Brain's favoured hand, or perhaps the Underdark mastermind your party has been warned about in hushed, fragmented whispers. The floating pose adds immediate visual drama, making it equally compelling as a centrepiece for an Underdark encounter or a display piece on a collector's shelf.

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a string of disappearances to an abandoned monastery — inside, a dozen villagers sit in perfect silence, eyes open, utterly empty. At the far end of the hall, drifting two feet above the flagstones and watching the door with patient curiosity, is the thing that emptied them.
This mini is scaled to 63mm and is available with or without a plain black base (supplied unattached — a small amount of glue will secure it). The levitating pose comes with a transparent floater base if the base option is selected. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming, with supports removed — minor surface marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
