The Crystal Guard Drake crouches low in a resting posture that reads anything but passive. Every surface of the sculpt is alive with texture — overlapping scale plates cluster across the shoulders and haunches, raised nodular scales line the spine, and a ridge of sharp dorsal spines runs the full length of the body. The long, sinuous tail curls out behind, tipped with a bifurcated barb that hints at a sting in its strike. The broad, horned head carries an alert, sharp-eyed expression: jaw slightly parted, brow ridged with a crown of swept horns, neck ringed with bead-like scales that catch paint beautifully. This drake looks like it belongs at the threshold of something important — a dragon's antechamber, a cursed vault, or a highland pass no traveller crosses without permission.
The sculpt sits on a large 51mm oval base, giving it a commanding footprint at the table that reflects its Large creature classification in D&D 5e. The low, coiled pose means it reads well from all angles — crouching, ready, and deeply territorial — making it as rewarding a display piece as it is a table presence.
