This is Crystal Formation 02 from Novaminis — the second piece in their crystal terrain range, and a distinct sculpt from Formation 01. Where the first piece has its own silhouette, this one features a tall central spire flanked by a cluster of mid-height faceted shards, all erupting from a rough, textured rocky base scattered with smaller needle-like growth. The angular geometry of each crystal face is crisp and clean, giving the piece a dramatic, almost architectural presence on the table. Paint it as rose quartz, smoky amethyst, corrupted shadow-crystal, or raw arcane mineral — the facets catch light beautifully however you approach it.
As a scatter terrain piece, it works across a wide range of settings: a Underdark cavern floor pulsing with Far Realm energy, a mineral-rich geode chamber in a dwarven mine, a druid's sacred stone circle overgrown with elemental crystal, or an Elemental Plane of Earth outpost marking something buried and forgotten. At 32mm scale it holds its own on the battlefield without blocking sightlines — a natural focal point for encounters without dominating the space.

Encounter Hook:
The party enters a collapsed mine chamber to find three of these formations arranged in a perfect triangle — each one warm to the touch and faintly thrumming. At the centre of the triangle, the stone floor is scorched in the shape of a summoning circle. Something was called here recently. The crystals remember.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale and ready for priming and painting. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a drop of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail terrain pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally occur and can be tidied up before priming.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
