The Crystal Drake Flame is a Large-base draconic predator that sits somewhere between a lizard and a geological event. Its four-legged, low-slung body is covered in dense overlapping scales, and erupting from its back is a dramatic ridge of jagged crystal formations — some narrow and blade-like, others broad and faceted, jutting at wild angles like a shattered geode given a spine. The pose is mid-stalk: weight forward, claws splayed, maw open to reveal curved fangs, with a thick armoured tail curling up and behind. This is a creature that does not ambush — it walks towards you, because it has no reason to hide.

The sculpt rewards painters enormously. The crystal formations beg for contrast techniques, zenithal priming, and OSL experiments — imagine deep amethyst at the base fading to ice-blue tips, or volcanic obsidian spiked with ember-orange.
