The Crumbling Alchemy Altar is a large scatter terrain piece that carries real narrative weight. Two great roots or weathered stone outcroppings arch upward to cradle a flat ritual slab, its surface crowded with detail: a bubbling cauldron, tapered candles, a frog perched among vials and vessels, scattered bones, and arcane detritus that tells a story without a single word of exposition. Beneath the slab, mushrooms sprout from the rubble, a small toad hides in the shadows, and the whole piece rests on a richly textured oval base that roots it firmly in the world.
