Description
It was never truly alive — but whatever wizard bound gears and iron into the shape of a crocodile made something that refuses to die.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Crocodile Construct is a feat of arcane engineering: riveted plating over a segmented mechanical frame, a jaw built for crushing rather than biting, and a tail coiled with the tension of a clockwork spring wound too tight. This is not a beast — it is a purpose given form. Whether it guards a forgotten vault, stalks the waterways of a flooded dungeon, or serves as the centrepiece of an artificer's menagerie, it brings an unmistakable presence to the table.
Two poses are available in this range. This sculpt shows the construct in a low, aggressive crawl — jaw agape, body coiled and ready to lunge — a posture that communicates threat without needing a stat block to back it up. The second pose rears upward, tail raised, as though mid-strike. Both are equally suited to gaming and display collecting.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run encounters in artificer workshops, flooded ruins, or arcane laboratories
- Want a construct that reads as mechanical and threatening at a glance
- Are building a collection of steampunk or Eberron-flavoured creatures
- Love a miniature that looks formidable unpainted and rewarding once detailed
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a single brass key from a long-abandoned artificer's tower. The tower is flooded to knee-height on the ground floor — and something beneath the surface has just registered their presence. The Crocodile Construct hasn't received a new command in 200 years. Its last order was: let no one leave.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with the detailed base comes as a single piece. The model with the plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy assembly with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as-is. Minor imperfections from the print process are possible; any residual marks can be removed easily. All pieces are fully cured before dispatch.
