This is Variation 01 of the Creepy Assistant — a powerfully built, bald-headed humanoid rendered in a low, threatening stance. His heavy frame is dressed in a rough tunic and trousers both visibly laced with crude cross-stitch seams, as though the clothing — or perhaps the man himself — has been clumsily repaired more than once. A thick rope belt cinches his waist, and his bare feet are planted wide, knees slightly bent, like someone who is very comfortable with the idea of violence. One hand is drawn into a white-knuckled fist; the other reaches forward with grasping, clawed fingers. The expression on his broad, heavy-browed face is one of cold, patient menace — not rage, but readiness.
The sculpt carries tremendous character. Every detail — the stitching on the fabric, the gnarled knuckles, the rope belt, the bare feet — reinforces the sense of something assembled, repurposed, and entirely loyal to whoever holds the leash. He reads equally well as a flesh golem servant, a dungeon torturer, a crime lord's enforcer, or the unsettling factotum of a Ravenloft-style villain. This is Variation 01; if you want to build out a small retinue of these shambling heavies, other variants are available separately.
This miniature suits adventurers who want to:
- Give their campaign villain a memorable, physically imposing lackey
- Run gothic horror, Ravenloft, or mad-scientist-style encounters
- Add a flesh golem, brute, or torturer to their NPC roster
- Create a multi-variant collection of the same hulking assistant
- Have a characterful centrepiece for a dungeon or laboratory scene
Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to extract a prisoner from the tower of a reclusive alchemist. The cell door is unlocked — but behind it, filling the narrow corridor with his bulk, stands a figure in stitched clothes who regards them with absolute, wordless calm. He holds no weapon. He doesn't seem to think he needs one.
