The Crawling Claw is one of the most unsettling entries in the undead bestiary: a severed hand, reanimated by dark necromancy, driven by nothing but the compulsion to kill. This is the second sculpt in Yasashii Kyojin Studios' Crawling Claw range, and it's a distinctly different beast from its sibling. Where Claw 01 reaches upward with grasping intent, this pose is low and predatory — the hand flattened against the ground, four hooked talons curled forward in a mid-crawl lunge, every tendon straining. It's the moment just before it springs, and that tension is captured brilliantly in the sculpt.

The anatomical detail is genuinely unsettling in the best way: the knuckles are raised, the skin pulled taut across the metacarpals, and those curved claws are long enough to catch the light. Whether you're building a necromancer's swarm of scuttling horrors or dropping a lone Crawling Claw into a cursed crypt encounter, this sculpt earns its place on the table. Both poses together make for a particularly effective tableau on a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run undead-heavy campaigns featuring necromancers, liches, or cursed ruins
  • Want to bring D&D 5e's Crawling Claw stat block to life at the table
  • Are building a swarm of skittering horrors for a horror-themed encounter
  • Collect undead miniatures for painting projects or display

Encounter Hook:
The party has just looted the sanctum when the torches begin to gutter. From beneath the pile of severed hands they dismissed as battlefield debris, one finger twitches — then another. The necromancer's failsafe was never a trap. It was a collection.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each piece is supplied unpainted and ready for priming, though it looks striking straight off the build plate as well. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up.
