Crab Action Pose by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
The tide recedes, the sand shifts, and something armoured and ancient drags itself into the light — claws first.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This crab miniature from Mia Kay M3DM captures a moment of raw, scuttling menace. Posed low and forward on a sandy textured base, the crab's claws are raised and ready, while three sinuous sea fronds rise dramatically behind it — suggesting kelp, coral, or something stranger growing from its shell. It's the sort of creature that looks equally at home lurking in a rock pool the size of a wagon wheel or acting as the mundane-turned-monstrous threat in a coastal hex-crawl.
In D&D 5e terms this is your Giant Crab, your awakened shoreline hazard, or the unexpected complication in a seaside dungeon. The sculpt has real personality — it reads as a creature caught mid-charge, all instinct and chitin — and it paints up beautifully whether you're going for naturalistic sandy browns or the iridescent blue of something touched by the deep ocean.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run coastal, aquatic, or underwater D&D and TTRPG encounters
- Need Beast-type monsters for low-to-mid level wilderness hazards
- Want a creature mini that doubles as a striking display piece
- Are building a seaside fishing village gone wrong — or a merfolk-adjacent dungeon
Encounter Hook:
The party's rowing boat runs aground on a sandbar as the fog thickens. From the shallows, three shapes emerge — the size of mastiffs, shells crusted with barnacles and trailing weed — and they are not retreating. The locals warned about the crab harvest this year. Nobody said the crabs had started harvesting back.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with a sculpted base comes as a single attached piece. The version with a plain base ships with the base detached for easy gluing. Each mini is printed to a high standard; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up with light sanding.
