This is the Cowardly Lion — a title born of mockery, carried now like a trophy. Leonin society has little patience for those who think before they charge, yet here stands a warrior who has learned that a well-held shield and a well-timed roar are worth a dozen reckless swings. Armed with a round buckler and clad in layered armour of hide, chain, and beaten metal, this figure bristles with barely-contained aggression. Braided rope and knotted cord detail the torso, and the lion head is caught mid-snarl, mane whipping back as though the wind itself is trying to slow him down and failing.
The sculpt rewards painters who enjoy working fur textures alongside hard armour surfaces — there is real contrast here between the organic bulk of the leonin form and the deliberate craft of the battle gear. Whether you play him as a conflicted Totem Warrior questioning his own rage, or as the scarred veteran everyone underestimates, he brings a strong personality to any encounter or display shelf.
