Description

They said she'd been acting strangely for weeks — but no one expected this.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 2 of our Corrupted Villager range, and it may be the most deeply unsettling of the set. The figure is shown on their knees, robes dishevelled, hands pressed to their face — but these are not simply their own hands. A mass of elongated, grasping fingers, far more than any one person could possess, writhes around the head in a horrific tangle. Something has taken root inside this person, and it is very nearly in control. The pose captures that specific, dreadful moment of losing the self.

For Dungeon Masters running cosmic horror, mind-controlled townsfolk, aberrant corruption arcs, or Ravenloft-adjacent campaigns, this miniature delivers a visceral, narrative-rich centrepiece. Equally arresting as a display piece on a collector's shelf — this is a sculpt that stops people mid-sentence and demands to be examined.

Useful for adventurers who:

  • Need a disturbing NPC for an aberration or mind-flayer storyline
  • Are building a corrupted village encounter or horror-themed session
  • Want a striking centrepiece for a Ravenloft or cosmic horror campaign
  • Collect horror-themed fantasy miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in the village of Ashfen to find most of the inhabitants barricaded indoors. In the square, a woman in a miller's robe kneels in the mud, surrounded by claw marks in the cobblestones, a dozen hands that should not exist pulling her face towards something the others cannot yet see — and she is whispering coordinates.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base arrives unattached and can be secured with a small amount of glue. The miniature is ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or striking enough to use as-is. Minor imperfections from the print process may occasionally occur; these are easily tidied up before painting.
