Description
Something wrong walks the frozen tundra — the shape of a reindeer, the silhouette of something far older, and a dozen writhing limbs that should not exist.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Reindread is one of those rare miniatures that stops a table dead. What begins as a recognisable form — the broad antlers, the dense winter coat, the proud stance of a great stag — rapidly gives way to something deeply unsettling. Segmented tentacles coil from its shoulders and drag across the snow-dusted base. Chitinous spines ridge its back. A secondary mass of corrupted flesh clings to its flank, hollow-eyed and toothed, as though the creature is mid-transformation into something with no name in any bestiary. This is not a beast that wandered into a corruption zone. This is a beast that has become the corruption zone.
For Dungeon Masters running arctic horror, Lovecraftian wilderness encounters, or campaigns where the natural world has begun to crack at the seams, the Reindread offers a genuinely chilling centrepiece. Two distinct forms are captured in a single sculpt — the outwardly familiar and the grotesquely wrong — making it equally compelling as a tabletop encounter piece or a display miniature on the shelf. Painted or unpainted, this one earns its place.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run arctic, tundra, or frozen-wilderness campaigns in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Want a large-scale aberration or monstrosity encounter that genuinely unsettles players
- Are building a horror or cosmic corruption arc and need a creature that shows it visually
- Collect display miniatures with strong character and distinctive sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The village elder swears the reindeer herd passed through three nights ago — she counted twelve. The tracks in the snow confirm twelve animals entered the valley. The tracks that leave the valley number thirteen, and the last set are not hooves.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale on a detailed snowy scenic base. The miniature and base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the base is sculpted to interact with the model, so we recommend keeping them together. Arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight away for your next session.
