There is a particular kind of villain that wears no armour — because he has never needed to. The Corrupt King is sculpted with every excess on full display: a ruffled collar framing a sneering, bearded face; puffed and padded doublet straining beneath a heavy cape; a thin rapier hanging from his belt less as a weapon and more as an affectation of authority. In one gloved hand he clutches what appears to be a key or seal — the sort of object that opens vaults or closes fates. He is broad, self-satisfied, and utterly convinced of his own indispensability.
