The Corpse Harvester is a creature of grim purpose: a towering, skeletal aberration that stalks battlefields and burial grounds alike, gathering the dead for some unseen necromantic design. This bust captures it mid-reach — one ruined claw extended, a heavy hexagonal relic clutched in its grip and bound by thick chains, its tattered wrappings billowing behind it like a burial shroud caught in a cursed wind. The oversized, stitched-seam skull looms above the figure, suggesting something assembled rather than born — a constructed horror or a fiend shaped from corpse-matter and dark will. A hooded, screaming face hangs at its side, either a prisoner, a soul-vessel, or perhaps a part of the creature itself.
The sculpt is an exceptional display and painting project. Every surface rewards close attention — from the cracked, stretched skin of the elongated arms to the rough-hewn texture of the relic and the deep folds of the tattered cloak. Mounted on a chunky scenic base, it sits with the authority of a true centrepiece. Whether you paint it as a necromancer's servant, a fiend from the lower planes, or a homebrew horror your players will never forget, this piece earns its place on the shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are hunting a characterful, lore-rich display bust for their painting queue
- Want a centrepiece model that commands attention on a shelf or gaming table
- Are building a dark fantasy or undead-themed display collection
- Need visual inspiration for a necromantic villain, bound horror, or cursed construct in their campaign
- Enjoy technically demanding sculpts packed with surface texture and narrative detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking missing bodies from three separate villages — graves disturbed, crypts broken open, funeral pyres extinguished before they could finish their work. When they finally corner the culprit in the ruins of a collapsed ossuary, they find not a necromancer, but this: a creature that moves like a prayer turned wrong, dragging a chain that ends in a relic pulsing with cold light. The chain holds something inside it. Something that used to be human. Something that recognises them.
