Conniving Socialite (Victor Montgomery) by DM Stash

Behind the polished buttons and the silver-topped cane, Victor Montgomery has never once told the full truth — and he has lived very well because of it.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Victor Montgomery cuts a striking figure — a silver-haired gentleman in a long, finely textured coat adorned with ornate lapel embroidery and a ribbon cravat at his throat. A pocket-watch chain drapes across his waistcoat, and he leans with practised ease upon an elegantly carved cane. He looks like a man accustomed to being listened to. The sculpt rewards a painter's eye: the deep texture of the woven coat, the crisp waistcoat buttons, and the subtle curl of the collar all give brushwork somewhere interesting to land.

Turn him around and the illusion of respectability cracks — tucked behind his back, half-hidden by the fall of that expensive coat, is a pistol. Victor Montgomery is not just a socialite. He is a man who has prepared for the conversation to go wrong. The cobblestone scenic base roots him firmly in a city of gaslit streets and closed-door dealings, and the miniature arrives with that base included as part of the finished piece.

Victor works equally well as the charming information broker the party must win over, the villain pulling strings from the shadows of a Ravenloft soirée, or a morally compromised noble whose loyalty is entirely for sale. He is a natural fit for gothic urban campaigns, intrigue-heavy one-shots, or any session where the threat wears a cravat.

Particularly well suited for adventurers who:

• Run gothic horror or dark urban campaigns and need a polished, dangerous NPC
• Want a Ravenloft socialite who hides a pistol and a great many secrets
• Are looking for a display-worthy miniature that doubles as a compelling table piece
• Play rogues, warlocks, or bards seeking a well-dressed morally ambiguous mentor figure

Encounter Hook

The party has been invited to the Montgomery estate for a charity gala — black-tie, champagne, the works. Three hours in, a guest is found dead in the locked library. Every lead points back to Victor, who smiles, refills his glass, and gently reminds the adventurers that they are, technically, trespassing. He knows something. He wants something in return. The cane taps once on the marble floor, and the negotiation begins.
