This is the second variant in our Command Tent range from Novaminis, and it brings a distinctly martial, slightly ominous character to your battlemap. Open on two sides and framed by sturdy wooden posts, the canvas canopy is held in place by thick rope lines that terminate in skull-capped finials — a quiet statement about who commands from within. The canvas walls carry beautifully sculpted stitched seams, cross-stitch detailing, and hand-tied rope fastenings that reward close inspection and respond brilliantly to a wash-and-drybrush paint scheme. The open structure means miniatures can be placed inside during play, making it genuinely functional as well as characterful terrain.
Whether you're placing this at the heart of a hobgoblin warband's forward position, setting the scene for a parley between rival factions, or building out a military encampment for a siege arc, this piece does the storytelling work before a single die is rolled. Equally at home on a display shelf as on an active battlemap.

Encounter Hook:
The party finally infiltrates the orcish war camp under cover of darkness — but the general's Command Tent is lit from within, two guards posted at the open sides, and through the canvas walls the shadow of a much larger figure moves back and forth. Someone important is meeting with someone they'd rather not have seen.
This terrain piece is scaled to 32mm. A plain black base is available as an option and comes unattached — a small amount of glue will fix it in place if you choose to use it. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin pieces, minor marks are possible and can be tidied up during your prep and priming stage. Ready to prime and paint straight away.
