The Colossal Knight Horror is a monument to war that refuses to end. Clad in layered plate armour etched with occult spirals and an enormous eye motif, this towering figure carries a massive war-axe in one gauntleted fist and a skull-crowned battle standard bristling with enemy arrows in the other. The banner itself — tattered, battered, and still held aloft — tells the story of a siege that this thing survived by not dying in any conventional sense. Its armour is fused with something that was never quite metalwork, and its base is a cairn of skulls and crumbling grave markers, as though it has simply stood on this spot long enough for a cemetery to grow around it.

Details

This is a display-scale miniature sized notably larger than standard 32mm — the base measures 75mm — placing it firmly in boss monster territory at the table. The sculpt rewards painters with deep relief across every surface: riveted pauldrons, decayed leather strapping, grotesque facial details on the banner, and a base dense with skull and stonework texture. Whether you're running it as an undead warlord, a construct bound by a dead king's final command, or an aberrant horror wearing the shape of a knight, it brings genuine presence to any encounter or display shelf.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Need a large-scale BBEG or centrepiece boss for a climactic campaign encounter
  • Are building undead or construct-themed armies and warbands
  • Want a display piece that rewards detailed painting across multiple layers of armour and texture
  • Are running campaigns in cursed kingdoms, blighted battlefields, or necromantic domains

Encounter Hook:
The party finds the battlefield memorial exactly as the old maps describe — except the armoured figure at its centre is not a statue. It turns slowly as they approach, the arrows in its shield still carrying the fletching of an army that fell three centuries ago, and the single eye carved into its breastplate opens.

This miniature is supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork. It is sized larger than standard 32mm scale — the base measures approximately 75mm — to suit its role as a boss or display piece. If you'd like a different scale, please get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate you. The base is supplied detached and can be affixed with a small amount of superglue.
