The cockatrice is one of D&D's most unsettling low-to-mid tier monsters: deceptively birdlike at first glance, genuinely lethal on closer inspection. This sculpt by Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that uncanny wrongness beautifully — a rooster's crested head and layered feathers giving way to a sinuous draconic body, bat-membrane wings stretched wide in a threat display, and scaled talons poised mid-step. The tail curls with a serpentine menace that belies the creature's avian silhouette. At 33mm tall, it carries real presence on the table without overwhelming a 32mm party.
Whether you're dropping it into a rural farmstead gone horribly wrong, a cursed menagerie, or a rocky wilderness hex, this mini reads instantly as a creature that shouldn't exist but very much does. What's included:
One cockatrice miniature at 33mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or straight to the table as-is. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished miniatures, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
