The Cobra Lizard is a creature that belongs to no comfortable category — part serpent in its sinuous threat display, part heavy-limbed reptile in its scaled haunches and splayed clawed feet, and entirely its own unsettling thing. Sculpted by Epic Miniatures, this large-base miniature captures the beast mid-display: its broad, leathery hood-like frill flared wide, its massive jaws wrenched open to reveal rows of jagged teeth, and its squat body coiled with coiled muscular tension. The dorsal spines rise sharply along its back, and the overlapping scale texture across its flanks gives painters a rich surface to work with — from earthy forest greens and dusty desert ochres to sickly swamp greys.

As a large creature on a 51mm base, this mini has genuine table presence. It reads clearly at range during play and rewards close inspection when displayed on a shelf. The combination of the flared frill, hunched posture, and wide-open maw makes it one of those sculpts that players instinctively lean away from — which is exactly what a Dungeon Master wants.
