Description

Deep within the sealed vaults of a forgotten artificer, something with too many legs and no intention of standing down is still very much on duty.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Clockwork Spider by Mia Kay M3DM is a mechanical nightmare built from gears, bolts, and bladed limbs — the kind of construct that doesn't ask questions and doesn't stop moving. The sculpt captures every gnarly mechanical detail: interlocking gear plates across the carapace, segmented articulated legs ending in vicious points, and a central clockwork core bristling with bolts and rotating components. It reads unmistakably as something engineered to protect, patrol, and pursue — with no off switch in sight.

Two distinct versions are included in this listing. The first presents the spider in a raised, aggressive stance with legs spread wide and the gear-plated body fully exposed from above. The second shows a lower, prowling pose with a large clockface or pressure dial dominating the front of the body — reminiscent of an arcane sensor or threat-detection mechanism. Both sit on thematic bases decorated with cog motifs and mechanical detail that reinforce the construct aesthetic beautifully on a gaming table or display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a construct encounter that feels genuinely threatening and memorable
  • Are running artificer workshops, ancient ruin dungeons, or arcane security gauntlets
  • Want a mechanical creature mini that doubles as a display piece with serious shelf presence
  • Are building a steampunk, magitech, or Eberron-adjacent campaign setting

Encounter Hook:
The party triggers a pressure plate in the deepest chamber of the Vault of Edenmoor — and the grinding of metal on stone begins somewhere in the dark above them. The Clockwork Spider drops from the ceiling on a coil of chain, its gear-core spinning up to speed, its bladed legs already finding purchase on the walls. It was built to allow no one out. It has had three hundred years to practise.

This miniature is scaled to 32mm. The version with the detailed scenic base comes fully attached as a single piece. The version with the plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy gluing. Both are supplied unpainted and ready for priming — or use them straight from the box if you prefer a raw metal-and-bone aesthetic at the table.
