Clockwork Fox by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Its joints tick with quiet precision, amber lenses scanning the dark — the last sentinel of a workshop whose master has long since turned to dust.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Clockwork Fox is a beautifully engineered construct miniature that bridges the worlds of magical invention and animal grace. Every inch of the sculpt rewards close attention: articulated limb segments joined by visible gear mechanisms, segmented plating that flows like fur across the haunches, and a swept tail that balances the forward-leaning, alert pose with real dynamism. The textured gear-work base ties the whole piece together, grounding it firmly in a world of arcane industry.
Whether you picture it as a wizard's tireless familiar, a vault guardian in a long-dead artificer's workshop, or an autonomous hunter patrolling the ruins of a clockwork city, this construct brings a compelling mix of the mechanical and the living to your table. It works beautifully as both a gaming piece and a display centrepiece — the level of sculpt detail absolutely rewards a careful paint job.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run artificer-heavy or steampunk-flavoured D&D and TTRPG campaigns
- Need a distinctive construct encounter that isn't just another golem
- Want a companion or familiar mini that stands out on any table
- Collect and paint display-quality character and creature miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the sub-levels of the Varenholm Artificers' Guild — abandoned for two centuries following the Magewar — and finds every corridor sealed. At the threshold of the vault, a fox-shaped construct raises its head, gears whirring softly to life. Its orders haven't changed. Its master never came back to revoke them.
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied as a single piece attached to the included gear-themed base. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor surface marks are possible and easily cleaned up before priming. Arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
