Description
Something vast and leathery drops from the cavern ceiling, and by the time the torchlight catches those rows of teeth, it is already too late to run.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Cloaker is one of D&D's most unsettling aberrations — a creature that weaponises the darkness itself, disguising its bulk as an ordinary shadow until the moment it strikes. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures that threat beautifully: massive ragged wings spread wide in an aggressive display, a grotesque fanged maw gaping at the centre of its body, and a whip-like tail coiling beneath it. Mounted on an oval base, the pose reads as a creature mid-dive — caught in the instant between lurking and attacking.
Whether you're running a deep cavern crawl, a mind flayer stronghold, or a dungeon filled with things the party really should have avoided, this miniature delivers the sense of wrongness that makes a Cloaker encounter genuinely memorable. It works equally well as a gaming piece or as a display piece for collectors drawn to the stranger corners of the monster manual.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Run Underdark campaigns and want their aberrations to look the part
- Need a mid-tier monster that commands immediate respect at the table
- Collect D&D creatures for display or painting projects
- Want a sculpt that doubles as a centrepiece for a dungeon encounter
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen merchant ledger from a disused mine. Three rooms in, they find the previous retrieval team — or rather, the empty husks of their armour, arranged neatly in a circle. Above them, hanging motionless from the rafters, are seven perfectly flat shapes that look exactly like old cloaks.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as a single piece attached to its base, ready for priming and painting. As with all hand-finished miniatures, minor surface marks are possible — these are easily tidied up before painting and do not affect the sculpt's detail.
