Description

It does not wait in the dark — it becomes the dark, folding its leathery wings around the unwary before they ever knew it was there.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Cloaker is one of the Underdark's most unsettling predators — not a beast that charges, but one that drapes itself over its prey like a living shadow. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that alien, boneless menace with exceptional craft. The broad, membrane-heavy wings are swept wide and dynamic, the barbed tentacle trails beneath the body in mid-lunge, and the grotesque, fang-ringed face hangs low — all contributing to the impression of something that moves like liquid terror. Each pose in this range shows the Cloaker from a different angle of attack, and this variation — Pose 01 — presents it in a forward-diving strike, face-down and fully committed to the ambush.

Three render angles are available to view: from below showing the textured underbelly and splayed wing membranes, from the side revealing the full swept-back silhouette, and from above capturing the hooked tentacle coil beneath. The sculpt is mounted on a transparent drip-style display base that keeps the creature elevated and airborne, reinforcing the sense that it has dropped from a cave ceiling mid-ambush. Whether you're placing this on the table for a tense encounter or showcasing it on a display shelf, the composition holds up from every direction.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark campaigns and need an atmospheric, lore-accurate aberration encounter
  • Want a visually distinctive aberration that reads immediately as a threat on the battlemat
  • Are building a painted display collection of classic D&D monsters
  • Need a boss-level ambush creature for a dungeon delve or cave complex

Encounter Hook:
The party is three hours into the silent tunnels below Xorrath's Chasm when the rogue's darkvision catches it — not a shape on the ceiling, but an absence of one, where there should be stalactites. The Cloaker has already chosen its target. Roll initiative.
