Cleric (Aboro-Ko) Bust by DM Stash
Description
She does not pray for victory — she wades into the tide and takes it.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
Aboro-Ko is a warrior-cleric sculpted mid-motion, her braided hair swept to one side as she raises her fist, eyes locked on whatever dares to stand before her. Her breastplate is etched with interlocking knotwork and scroll-work, layered over a scale-weave midriff that speaks to a culture where armour is both protection and identity. The textured cloak billows behind her like a breaking wave, every fold alive with surface detail that rewards a careful brush. She rises from a base of stacked sea-rock and coral — oyster shells, branching sea-fans, and the quiet suggestion of a world just below the waterline.
As a bust, Aboro-Ko is sculpted to showcase expression and surface texture rather than to serve as a standard tabletop combat piece. The back view is equally considered: a long braided plait trails behind the pauldrons, and the flowing cloak is decorated with an all-over floral pressed-textile pattern that would be a genuine centrepiece for any painter's display shelf. Whether you're working with layered washes to bring out the armour's engravings or blending across that sweeping cape, this piece offers a satisfying range of textures in a single model.
A great fit for adventurers who:
- Want a detailed bust project that challenges and rewards their brushwork
- Are building a display collection of strong, distinctive fantasy characters
- Need a visual reference or portrait piece for a cleric, paladin, or war-domain character
- Want to gift a collector something genuinely eye-catching for their shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a coastal shrine half-swallowed by the sea. Carved into the rock above the entrance is a face they've been seeing in their dreams — fist raised, braids loose in the current. The inscription below reads: "She does not wait for the tide. She is the tide." Whatever is sealed inside that shrine, Aboro-Ko put it there — and she left no key.
