Circular Steel Acrobat by Ella's Arcanum Minis

The crowd falls silent as the performer steps into the great steel ring — and then, with impossible grace, the world begins to spin around him.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Circular Steel Acrobat captures a performer at the height of his act — barefoot, grinning with easy confidence, arms raised to grip a large circular hoop that frames his entire silhouette. His tight performance jacket is buttoned at the chest, his hair swept back with theatrical flair, and every line of his pose speaks to someone who has rehearsed this moment ten thousand times and makes it look utterly effortless.

This is a miniature with real narrative versatility. At home in a travelling carnival, a decadent noble's entertainment hall, or the shadow-drenched big top of Ravenloft, the Acrobat works equally well as a colourful NPC encounter or as the basis for a Bard or Monk player character who has swapped the sawdust ring for the adventuring road. The sculpt includes a decorative tiled base that evokes a stage or circus floor, adding a sense of place even before paint is applied.

The hoop itself is the star of the composition — it encircles the figure completely, giving the miniature an unusually striking silhouette on the shelf or the table. Painters will enjoy the contrast between the smooth, taut performance costume and the bold circular prop, with plenty of opportunity to play with metallic or coloured ring finishes.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

• Are running a carnival, travelling circus, or festival encounter
• Need a flamboyant Bard, Monk, or Rogue player character miniature
• Want an NPC performer for Ravenloft or an urban campaign
• Enjoy painting expressive, character-driven sculpts with a distinctive silhouette
• Are building out a display collection of human NPCs and performers

Encounter Hook

The party arrives in a trade city mid-festival to find the streets packed with revellers — and a dead nobleman face-down behind the big top. The only witness is the Circular Steel Acrobat, still in his costume, who claims he saw nothing. His smile doesn't waver. His eyes say otherwise.
