Description

No one hears a Chuul coming — only the scrape of serrated claws on stone, and then it is already too late.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the third sculpt in our Chuul range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it captures the creature's grotesque vitality in three distinct render poses. The Chuul is a nightmare born from the Underdark's depths — part crustacean, part horror, all hunger. Across the three images you can see the full menace of the sculpt: in one pose the creature surges forward with its barbed scorpion-like tail sweeping behind it and serrated claws outstretched; in another it rears upright, tentacled maw dangling and great claws spread wide in a threat display; in the third it crouches low, every segmented leg braced as though moments from a lunge. The dorsal spines, segmented armour plating, and hooked limbs are rendered with exceptional clarity throughout.

Whether you need a lurking Underdark predator, an aberrant guardian of a flooded ruin, or a centrepiece boss for your next aquatic dungeon crawl, this sculpt carries the weight of genuine menace. Equally compelling as a display piece for painters who want something with dramatic silhouette and rich surface texture to work with.

A good choice for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark encounters and want a Chuul with serious table presence
  • Need an aberration boss or wandering threat for a coastal or subterranean campaign
  • Enjoy painting highly detailed creature sculpts with varied textures across carapace, claws, and soft tissue
  • Collect fantasy monster miniatures for display alongside painted warbands

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve cargo from a partially flooded smuggler's vault beneath the docks. The water is knee-deep and cold — and something has been nesting in the back chamber. The bones of the last retrieval crew are neatly stacked against one wall. The Chuul responsible is still there. It has not finished sorting them.

What's included:
Sculpt is scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks may occasionally occur and are easily cleaned up. This is the third pose (03) in the Chuul series from Yasashii Kyojin Studio.
