Description
Three natures bound into one monstrous form — the chimera does not stalk its prey so much as announce itself, because it has never needed to hide.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Chimera Variant sculpt captures the beast mid-lunge, rearing up on its hind legs with claws outstretched and fanged jaws wide open. The goat horns twist upward above a leonine face framed by a mane of layered scales, and the serpentine tail coils behind it, the snake-headed tip poised and ready. Skull fragments litter the sculpted base beneath its feet — evidence of every previous encounter the chimera has walked away from. It is a creature that radiates earned ferocity, and the detail in this sculpt carries that energy from every angle.
This is a variant interpretation of the classic D&D chimera — leaner and more feline than the traditional three-headed version, making it a versatile choice whether you need a straight chimera encounter, a unique fiendish beast, or a monstrous guardian protecting something your party really should not be touching. Equally suited to tabletop play and display shelving.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a large, imposing beast for a climactic wilderness or dungeon encounter
- Want a D&D chimera with a fresh, dynamic sculpt rather than the standard depiction
- Are building a display collection of mythological and monstrous creatures
- Love a model with genuine movement and threat baked into the pose
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen relic from a ruined hilltop temple — but when they arrive, they find the cultists who took it have already been scattered. Bones crunch underfoot. From behind the altar, something rears up, claws raking stone, a skull rolling off the dais. The cultists did not abandon the relic. They were removed from it.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model comes attached to its sculpted oval base featuring cracked stone and scattered skull fragments. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box — or display it unpainted, the sculpt holds up beautifully either way. As with all hand-finished resin prints, minor imperfections may occasionally occur; any residual marks are easily tidied up before painting.
