Chimera by La Louve 3D
Description
Three heads. One hunger. The chimera doesn't stalk its prey — it simply charges, all teeth and fury, and lets the survivors spread the legend.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
One of the most iconic monstrosities in the D&D bestiary, the chimera is equal parts chaos and predator. This sculpt by La Louve 3D captures the creature mid-lunge — lion body coiled with muscle, goat head jutting forward with curved horns, and a serpent tail rearing back ready to strike. All three heads are alive with aggression: the lion's fangs bared wide, the goat staring with cold, flat menace, and the snake snapping from behind. The base grounds it in movement, dust kicked up beneath heavy paws. This is not a creature at rest — this is a creature already in the air.
Whether you're placing it as a wandering threat in a mountain pass, the guardian of a dragon's hoard, or the terrifying centrepiece of a wilderness encounter, this miniature carries the weight and ferocity the chimera deserves. Equally at home on the gaming table or a display shelf among your finest painted pieces.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a powerful mid-tier boss or encounter centrepiece for D&D 5e or any fantasy TTRPG
- Are building mountain, wilderness, or dragon-adjacent encounters
- Want a dynamic, characterful creature mini for their display collection
- Enjoy painting challenging multi-headed sculpts with real surface detail
Encounter Hook:
The shepherd's flock was found scattered across three valleys — or rather, what remained of them was. The party follows the claw marks south, each one deeper and wider than the last, until the ridgeline erupts in a three-throated roar and the chimera drops from the crag directly onto the trail ahead.
