Cherubic Casper is the second pose in Great Grimoire's Cherubim Pawn range, and she makes an entrance. Clad in layered armour with a chain-trimmed battle skirt, buckled greaves, and a cape swept back mid-draw, she holds a beautifully ornate recurve bow — its limbs finished in sharp angular detail that speaks to something far older than mortal craft. Feathered wings spread wide at her back, and a full quiver rides ready at her shoulder. Her expression is bright-eyed and absolutely focused — this is not a guardian at rest, this is a celestial marksman who has already chosen her target.
As a D&D miniature she works brilliantly for an Aasimar ranger or paladin player character, a divine NPC archer despatched by the heavens, or a celestial soldier encountered in a planar encounter. She also stands apart as a display piece — the back-view reveals extraordinary feather and quiver detail that rewards close inspection and a careful paint scheme. And yes, she's scaled for use as part of a themed chess set too.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a winged celestial archer for a D&D 5e or TTRPG encounter
- Are building an Aasimar or celestial-themed player character collection
- Want a display miniature with front-and-back sculpt detail worth painting
- Are assembling a fantasy chess set with genuine miniature quality pawns
- Are a Dungeon Master staging a confrontation in the celestial planes
Encounter Hook:
The party's airship clears the cloud bank and finds itself alongside a formation of celestial scouts — one of them, wings folded tight, drops from formation and draws level with the prow. She raises her war-bow slowly, nocks a glowing arrow, and says — without breaking her smile — "The Concordat would like to know why you're travelling without a writ of passage."
