This Cherry Blossom Tree is a genuinely characterful piece of scatter terrain — not just a tree, but a landmark. The sculpt features a gnarled, deeply textured trunk with twisting surface roots anchoring it to the earth, while multiple rounded canopies of dense foliage billow outward, each clustered with delicate blossom detail. Trailing tendrils hang from the lower boughs, giving the whole piece an air of gentle, otherworldly age. Whether your campaign is rooted in a Far Eastern-inspired setting, a spring-touched Feywild glade, or a sacred grove that holds more secrets than it lets on, this tree earns its place on the table.
As a terrain piece it offers genuine visual weight — tall enough to be a focal point on any battle map, detailed enough to reward painters who want to bring out the bark texture, blossom clusters, and hanging growth with layered colour work. Equally at home as part of a display diorama or dropped straight onto a hex map for your next wilderness encounter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are building a Feywild, forest, or Eastern-inspired battle map
- Want a striking centrepiece tree that doubles as line-of-sight terrain
- Are working on a painted diorama or display collection
- Need atmospheric scatter to make wilderness encounters feel genuinely alive
Encounter Hook:
The party has been told the treaty was signed beneath the oldest cherry blossom tree in the valley — but when they arrive, the tree is bare, the blossoms are on the ground in an unbroken circle, and the diplomat who called the meeting is nowhere to be found. Something used this tree as a marker. Something that knew exactly when they were coming.
