Description

Not every hero carries a sword — some carry the grain that keeps the village alive, and know every cobblestone by name.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Charlie Carry is a townsfolk miniature with real soul. Sculpted with the stocky, lived-in look of someone who has shifted cargo since before they could read, Charlie stands square and confident, a large knotted sack hoisted over one shoulder. The expression is warm but knowing — the kind of face that's seen plenty of adventurers pass through town, and has a quiet opinion about all of them. The rear view reveals the full weight of the load, with detailed fabric creasing and rope ties that speak to the sculptor's careful eye. A small decorative emblem on the front of the tunic adds a touch of character that rewards a closer look.

From market districts to dockside warehouses, Charlie works equally well as a background figure breathing life into a busy scene, a named NPC with a secret, or a reluctant quest-giver who knows exactly where the stolen shipment ended up. This is the kind of miniature that makes a village feel inhabited rather than staged — and looks equally at home on a painted display shelf as it does on the tabletop.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need convincing townsfolk and civilian NPCs to populate markets, docks, or guildhalls
  • Are running urban or low-fantasy campaigns where everyday characters matter
  • Want a named NPC with a specific look — the porter, the merchant's man, the harried delivery runner
  • Enjoy painting character pieces with expressive faces and fabric detail
  • Are building display dioramas that tell a story without a single monster in sight

Encounter Hook:
The party's investigation into the missing alchemical supplies leads them to the warehouse quarter, where Charlie Carry is spotted hurrying through a side alley — sack over shoulder, eyes down, moving far too quickly for someone just doing their rounds. When they stop him, the sack shifts. Something inside it moves.
