Description

The gilded chariot stood empty on the cobblestones — its carved panels still warm from the sun, its owner conspicuously, dangerously absent.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

Whether it belongs to a conquering general making a triumphant entrance, a noble fleeing a coup, or a war deity's divine procession through a besieged city, this ornate chariot is a scene-setter unlike any other scatter piece. The sculpt features deeply carved floral scrollwork across the carriage body — flowering vines, curling acanthus leaves, and blossoms rendered in extraordinary detail — framed by studded iron rivets along every edge. The spoke wheels are solid and substantial, and the whole piece rests on a cobblestone base that grounds it firmly in a bustling city, a battlefield, or a royal road.

As a prop on the table, it commands attention. As a display piece, it rewards close inspection — the kind of sculpt that makes your players ask where you found it before they've even rolled for initiative.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Want to bring urban encounters, chariot races, or royal processions to the table
  • Need a centrepiece prop for city intrigue or military campaign sessions
  • Are building dioramas or display scenes with a classical or high-fantasy aesthetic
  • Love painting ambitious scenic pieces with lots of surface detail to bring out with washes and dry-brushing

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the city gates to find the Grand Marshal's ceremonial chariot abandoned in the middle of the processional road — horses gone, crowds parted in silence, and a single bloodied gauntlet resting on the carved seat. Someone took the Marshal. Someone powerful enough to do it in broad daylight. The clock is already ticking.
