This is no ordinary stagecoach. Sculpted by Great Grimoire, this large-scale diorama piece depicts an ornate gothic carriage drawn by two skeletal horses, their exposed skulls and fleshless legs caught mid-stride on a rubble-strewn base. Skull motifs adorn the bodywork, chain harnesses bind the undead steeds, and a pair of hanging lanterns cast their imagined glow over the whole grim ensemble. A top-hatted coachman cracks his whip from the driver's seat, while a cloaked passenger sits within the carriage's open cabin — every angle of this piece tells a story.
The rear of the carriage is loaded with luggage and decorated with more skull-and-rope detailing, making it a genuinely striking centrepiece whether on the battlefield or a display shelf. The base is textured with cracked stone and scattered bones, grounding the scene in a world where death is simply another form of transport. Encounter Hook:
The party is three miles from Vallsburg when the carriage overtakes them on the road — the coachman doesn't slow, doesn't look down, and the passenger's face is hidden beneath a hood. It's only when one of the skeletal horses turns its skull toward the ranger that the party realises the carriage has stopped, silently, fifty feet ahead — blocking the road entirely.
This piece is scaled to 35mm. If you would prefer a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate. A decorative base option is available — please include a note at checkout indicating which of the three base options you'd like. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor marks from the printing process may occasionally remain but are easily tidied up.
