Champion of the Claw (Brogvar) by DM Stash
Description
He has fought in the name of the Claw for longer than most have drawn breath — and every dent in that armour is a story that ended badly for someone else.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Brogvar is a warrior built for the front line and beyond it. Clad head-to-toe in intricately engraved plate — lion-face boss on the breastplate, layered pauldrons, scaled faulds, and a feather-crested great helm — he carries the weight of a veteran who has survived battles that broke lesser soldiers. His two-handed greataxe is no crude instrument: the blade is ornately wrought, the haft detailed with carved reliefs, and the whole weapon suggests a fighter who treats his arms as a point of honour, not just utility.
The sculpt captures him mid-stride, one knee forward, axe raised and ready — a posture that reads equally well as a champion entering the arena, a warlord crossing a shattered fortress threshold, or a hardened fighter NPC the party knows better than to cross. The rubble-strewn scenic base adds real drama, with broken flagstones underfoot hinting at a battlefield already well underway. The back of the armour reveals a shield emblem — a stern heraldic device that rewards a second look from painters.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Play a heavily armoured Fighter, Paladin, or Battle Master in a long-running campaign
- Need a named warrior NPC — a faction champion, rival fighter, or mercenary general
- Want a centrepiece miniature with the presence to anchor a dramatic encounter
- Collect armoured warriors and champion characters for display
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the city's fighting pits to gather information — only to find the evening's final bout features a fighter who walks out in armour they recognise: the same lion crest that marks the faction hunting them. Brogvar doesn't speak. He just levels that axe and waits for the bell.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The scenic rubble base is a separate piece and attaches easily with super glue — and given how well the pose interacts with the ground underfoot, it's well worth using as intended. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming.
