The Chain Devil is one of the Nine Hells' most unsettling enforcers: a humanoid figure encased entirely in overlapping scales of dark iron-red hide, arms trailing great curtains of interlocking links that move with horrible, deliberate weight. This sculpt captures that sense of coiled menace precisely — the creature stands mid-stride, clawed hands hanging low, yellow eyes burning from a featureless scaled face. There are no weapons because none are needed. The chains are the weapon. The chains are also the armour. The chains are also, somehow, the cloak.
In D&D 5e, Chain Devils (Kytons) serve as Hell's jailers and interrogators — bound by infernal law to extract what is owed and deliver it to their masters. On the table they work brilliantly as a mid-tier boss encounter, an infernal debt collector pursuing a warlock whose patron has grown impatient, or the muscle accompanying a more silver-tongued devil during a diabolical negotiation. Their Animate Chains ability makes for excellent theatrical table moments — drop this mini down and let the chains do the talking.
