This is Cerberus — not the tame guardian of myth, but something far older and far worse. Witchsong Miniatures' sculpt presents a hulking, multi-headed beast that looks less like a dog and more like a nightmare given bone and sinew. Each of the three snarling heads is distinct, wreathed in jagged spines and scales, jaws parted in a different stage of fury. The creature crouches low over a shattered stone base surrounded by curling, smoke-like tendrils — as though it has just forced its way through the boundary between planes and is deciding which of your party it wants first. The surface detail is extraordinary: overlapping scales, exposed bone, tattered membrane, and layered armour-like ridges across the spine give every angle something new to discover. This is a centrepiece miniature in every sense — equally at home dominating a boss encounter table or commanding a display shelf.
Printed at display scale with a 105mm base, this is sized by the artist as a true boss character — considerably larger than standard 32mm miniatures. It arrives as a genuinely imposing presence. Painters will find no shortage of texture to work with across the three heads, the body plating, and the atmospheric base. If you'd like a different scale, feel free to message us and we'll see what we can do.
For adventurers who:
- Need a BBEG or end-of-arc boss that commands the room
- Are building encounters around the Abyss, the Underworld, or corrupted planar rifts
- Want a centrepiece model for a display collection or a serious painting project
- Run campaigns where the monsters need to feel genuinely dangerous before the dice even roll
Encounter Hook:
The party have been hired to retrieve a soul from the Vault of Endless Teeth — a place the locals refuse to name. When they finally descend past the shattered iron gates, they find the vault guardian very much alive, and very much not alone in its heads. Each of the three has a different personality. Only one is willing to negotiate. The other two already know how this ends.
This model is supplied with the base detached for ease of transport — a small amount of glue will bring it together securely. The mini arrives ready for priming and painting, or use it straight from the box for your next session. Please note that as with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally occur during support removal; these are easily tidied up before painting.
