Description

Three heads. Three sets of fangs. One guardian who has never once let a soul slip past — in either direction.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

The Cerberus Bust captures the infernal hound of legend in a format built for painters and collectors who want something genuinely worth displaying. All three heads erupt from a mass of sinew, membrane, and leathery flesh — each one distinct in expression, from a skull-faced centre head with hollow eyes and gaping maw, to flanking heads mid-snarl, dripping with predatory menace. The body merges into a sweeping cloak-like form of stretched hide and bone, mounted on a detailed architectural plinth that gives the whole piece a monumental, almost totemic presence. There is nothing subtle about this sculpt, and that is precisely the point.

As a bust rather than a full miniature, this piece excels as a showcase for painters — every ridge of sinew, every overlapping fold of skin, every ragged tooth edge is a surface inviting careful brushwork. It also carries enormous narrative weight for Dungeon Masters building campaigns around the underworld, death cults, or planar travel. Station it on your shelf between sessions and let it remind your players what waits beyond the veil.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a large-scale painting project with genuinely complex texture and form
  • Are building a fantasy beast or underworld-themed display collection
  • Need visual inspiration for a three-headed guardian, infernal encounter, or death-domain deity
  • Are looking for a striking shelf centrepiece that commands the room

Encounter Hook:
The party has retrieved the soul gem from the depths of the Ashen Vaults — but as they approach the planar rift home, the air splits with a sound between a howl and a thunderclap. Three sets of eyes open in the dark ahead. The Warden was never bound to the dead alone; it was bound to the gate. And they are standing on the wrong side of it.

This bust is a display-scale piece rather than a standard 32mm combat miniature, and is significantly larger in footprint and height. It arrives unpainted and unassembled if required, with supports removed. As with all hand-checked pieces, minor surface marks are possible and can be tidied with a fine file before painting.
