Ceramic Bard by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
She was commissioned to perform at a celebration that never came — and so she dances still, fans raised, lyre humming, waiting for an audience that crumbled to dust centuries ago.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Ceramic Bard is one of the most distinctive construct miniatures you'll find for the tabletop. Sculpted by M3DM's Mia Kay, this porcelain-skinned dancer is caught mid-performance — one leg raised, a floral-etched fan held high, a second fan clasped at her waist, and an ornate lyre slung against her back. Filigree patterns trace her sash and sleeve cuffs, and her expression carries that particular quality of magical artifice: serene, unreadable, and faintly unsettling. She looks like she was made to enchant — and she was.
Whether she's an ancient construct still faithfully fulfilling her last command, an Artificer's most prized creation, or a cursed noble transformed into living porcelain, she brings a rare combination of elegance and strangeness to your table. Equally at home as a player character miniature for a Bard or Monk, a memorable NPC in a ruined palace, or a centrepiece on a display shelf — this sculpt earns its place wherever it lands.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play Bard, Monk, or Artificer characters and want a distinctive sculpt to match
- Need an elegant, unsettling construct NPC for a palace, ruin, or magical archive encounter
- Are building an Eastern-inspired or arcane-aesthetic collection
- Want a display piece that holds its own off the tabletop as well as on it
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the sealed inner chamber of the Alabaster Pavilion and finds her mid-step, fans frozen at the apex of a gesture. As the door closes behind them, she completes the movement — slowly, deliberately — and turns her painted eyes toward the intruders. She does not speak. She begins to play.
