Description

They called him Magnus the Hateful not for cruelty alone, but because his hatred was precise — a weapon as keen as the massive blade he raises before every charge.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Magnus the Hateful is a centaur warboss sculpted for the arena — and it shows in every line of this miniature. He rears up on powerful hind legs, forelegs tucked mid-charge, with a broad greatsword thrust aloft in a pose that radiates command and barely-contained violence. The sculpt captures him at the moment just before the blow lands, which makes him as gripping to look at on a display shelf as he is terrifying to place on the gaming table.

His armour is layered and battle-worn: scale-worked pauldrons and chest plate sit over the human torso, while articulated barding protects the equine body — complete with spiked fastenings and runic detailing on the flank straps. The greatsword itself has a serrated, weapon-of-war quality rather than anything ceremonial, and his horned, skull-like helmet gives him the look of something more fell than a mere warlord. Tufts of ghostly mane and a sweeping, smoke-like tail add movement to the piece, and the rocky base captures the arena floor mid-destruction.

As a large-scale centaur model, Magnus occupies two or more grid squares and makes a genuine physical statement on the battlemap — this is not a miniature that goes unnoticed.

This miniature is well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding centaur BBEG or warboss for a climactic encounter
  • Are running an arena, colosseum, or gladiatorial campaign arc
  • Want a large centaur mini that brings real presence to the gaming table
  • Are painting collectors looking for a dynamic large creature centrepiece
  • Play campaigns where centaur warbands pose a serious threat to the party

Encounter Hook: The gates of the Grand Arena groan open, and Magnus the Hateful storms into the sand — not as a prisoner, but as the arena's champion enforcer, sent to make an example of the adventurers who dared challenge the city's ruling syndicate. The crowd screams. The sand trembles. He does not slow down.
