Description
When the night riders of the ancient barrow-plains pledged themselves to the darkness, they did not merely die — they were remade, hungering and unkillable, thundering across the moonlit grasslands on four rotting hooves.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This centaur vampire is caught in a ferocious upswing — hind legs planted, forelegs rearing, and a heavy greatsword raised overhead in both hands with savage intent. The equine half is clad in engraved barding with diamond-pattern detailing across the flank, while the humanoid torso is bare and powerfully muscled, draped only in a broad decorated belt. The pose carries real momentum: this is not a creature standing guard, it is a creature mid-charge and mid-strike, and the sculpt's musculature makes you feel every ounce of that force.
The face carries a feral, predatory quality — long hair swept back, features tight with aggression — and the overall silhouette reads immediately as something wrong about a centaur, something corrupted and dangerous. Armoured greaves protect the lower legs, with decorative leather strapping visible at the knee joints, and the flowing feathering of the hooves adds movement to the lower body. This is a large sculpt that commands the table; on a 51mm base it has genuine physical presence.
Whether you paint it as a cursed champion of a deathless warband, a vampire lord's terrifying cavalry mount in its own right, or the sole survivor of a noble centaur herd turned to undeath by a lich's ritual, this miniature earns its place at the centre of any encounter. It works equally well as a tabletop encounter piece and as a display model for the painting shelf.
- Adventurers running Gothic horror or Ravenloft-style campaigns where undead cavalry terrorise the plains
- Dungeon Masters who want a large, striking BBEG or lieutenant that isn't a dragon or a lich
- Painters drawn to complex musculature and armour detail on a large-format sculpt
- Anyone building out an undead warband that needs something genuinely unexpected in the ranks
Encounter Hook
The party has been tracking a string of village disappearances across the moors when they arrive at a burning farmstead. From the far tree line, thundering hoofbeats shake the earth — and into the firelight comes the Pale Rider, a centaur of terrible beauty with a greatsword already raised. The villagers call it the Dusk Herald. It hasn't spoken in three hundred years. It doesn't need to.
