Description

Where the old forest was felled and the stumps still bleed sap, something older than the trees themselves rose up — and it remembers every axe.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Melwyn is no gentle spirit of leaf and blossom. This is a Centaur Dryad born from spite and grief, a creature of splintered bark and writhing heartwood whose very form speaks of a woodland desecrated. The sculpt captures her mid-stride atop a base of shattered stumps — one clawed foot raised, her hollowed torso a cage of twisted grain, and a crown of flame-shaped branches erupting from a skull-like face. Veins of living green run through the bleached wood of her body, the only sign that something vital still pulses within. This is not a guardian of the forest. This is what the forest becomes when it has nothing left to protect.

Whether you're running a Feywild excursion, a corrupted nature spirit encounter, or a woodland hex populated by bitter fey, Melwyn brings immediate narrative weight to the table. Her pose — commanding, predatory, poised to strike — works equally well as a mid-combat encounter piece or as a centrepiece on a display shelf. The layered detail across her bark-like body and the elaborate decorative base reward patient painters and look compelling straight off the build plate.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Run Feywild or corrupted forest encounters in D&D 5e or Pathfinder
  • Need a memorable boss or territorial guardian for a woodland hex
  • Collect fey and nature-themed miniatures for display
  • Want a distinctive centaur sculpt beyond the traditional horse-warrior archetype
  • Love painting complex organic textures — bark, wood grain, and creeping growth

Encounter Hook:
The party's druid senses something wrong the moment they enter the clearcut — the stumps are still weeping, and the rings in the wood count centuries. Before they can warn the others, the treeline erupts and Melwyn rises from the earth on legs of knotted oak, her voice the sound of a forest remembering every wound inflicted upon it. She doesn't want coin or parley. She wants the logging camp's name.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all you need to assemble them. The base is sculpted to interact with the model's pose and the two work best displayed together. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use as-is straight from the build plate.
