This is pose 4 of our Centaur range by Galaad Miniatures, and it cuts a commanding figure on the tabletop. The sculpt depicts a powerfully built male centaur — bare-chested, wrapped in travel-worn leather bindings — with a sweeping curved scythe held low in one hand and a gnarled staff raised in the other. His expression is cool and confrontational, and a pair of curling horns crown his head, suggesting fey bloodline rather than mundane woodland origin. A satchel hangs at his flank, hinting at a druid, ranger, or wandering lore-keeper rather than a straightforward brute. His horse body is poised mid-stride, tail raised — this is a centaur on the edge of action, not standing at ease.
Whether you run him as a Feywild border warden, a rival to the party's druid, or the herald of a centaur warband, he brings immediate narrative weight to any encounter. Equally compelling on a display shelf alongside painted forest or fey terrain pieces.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a fey-touched centaur guardian, scout, or antagonist for their campaign
- Are building a Feywild-themed encounter or wildlands hex map
- Want a centaur mini with genuine character beyond the standard warhorse aesthetic
- Are collectors drawn to expressive, lore-rich fantasy sculpts
- Play or DM settings where the boundary between civilisation and the fey wilds is a living, dangerous thing
Encounter Hook:
The road through the Thornreach has been closed for three nights running — merchants turned back, their wagons stripped of iron goods and left neatly by the roadside. Tonight, the party follows the hoof-scarred earth and finds him waiting at the old boundary stone: one scythe low, one staff raised, yellow eyes reflecting the lantern light. He says only: "You carry iron into the Warden's wood. You will carry it back out, or you will not carry anything again."
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or great straight off the build plate as a gaming piece. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will secure them. The scenic base complements the sculpt and some models interact with it naturally, so we recommend displaying them together.
