Susaneko, Swordmaster of the South, is a catfolk warrior of exceptional discipline and deadly elegance. Sculpted mid-combat stance, he balances on the balls of his clawed feet atop a shattered rock base, both long blades extended in a crossing guard — one sweeping high, one held low — with additional weapons strapped across his back for good measure. His layered travelling robes billow with the momentum of interrupted motion, and the bandage wrapping around his eyes speaks of either a ritualistic blindfighting tradition or a wound worn as a mark of honour. Every element of this sculpt communicates a fighter who has turned survival into an art form.

Whether you're bringing him to the table as a wandering blade-for-hire, a rival duelist, or the centrepiece of a Crucible of the Chosen arena encounter, Susaneko carries the kind of presence that makes players sit up straighter when he walks through the door. He's equally at home on a display shelf, where the dynamic twin-blade pose and richly textured fur and cloth reward close inspection from every angle.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Play catfolk, Tabaxi, or beast-kin fighters, monks, or rangers
  • Need a formidable wandering duelist or arena champion NPC
  • Want a rival character whose combat style tells its own story
  • Are building a collection of non-human martial warriors
  • Appreciate display-worthy sculpts with strong directional energy

Encounter Hook:
The party's contact at the southern fighting pits is dead — replaced, mid-tournament, by a blindfolded catfolk swordsman who won seventeen bouts in a single evening and then vanished into the crowd. The only clue he left behind: a folded note bearing the party's employer's seal, and two clean cuts through the lock of the evidence chest they were sent to retrieve.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic rock base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the pose interacts with the base, so the decorative base is recommended for the best result. Comes unpainted and ready for priming, painting, or use straight from the box. As with all hand-finished prints, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
